Driver Training School (DTS) Dlims quetta was set up according to endorsement of the then Chief Marcial Law Administrator (Late) General Mohammad Zia-Ul-Haq, since 1978 vide Letter No. 57/1/CMLA, Dated 28-02-1978 as an autonomous unit headed by SP.DTS was Merged with PTC, Quetta in 2000 vide IGP Balochistan Quetta's Order No. 14583-92/1(168)/A, Dated 27-07-2000.In the year 2011 DTS was put under the authoritative order of DIGP Highway Balochistan, Quetta vide IGP Balochistan Quetta's Notification No. 53089-94/2(10)/A-II, Dated 15-12-2011. Point To deliver through instruction and data proficient improvement in issue relating Road security and to prepare the Police Drivers and officials in Art of Driving and Traffic, so they become better resident and community workers.
